MY SPECIALIZATIONS
PEDIATRICS, HEMATOLOGY & ONCOLOGY
I have gained many years of experience working in the Department of Paediatrics, Hematology and Oncology of the CM UMK, Curie Institute in Paris, district hospitals and medical practice in a multicultural, international environment of the Pharmaciens Sans Frontières association. I am the secretary of the Federation of Polish Medical Societies.
DOCTOR-PATIENT COMMUNICATION
I am the founder and president of the Polish Society of Medical Communication, the initiator and organizer of the first medical communication conferences in Poland, a member of the Medical Languages Group of RJP PAN. I belong to the International Shared Decision Making Society.
ACADEMIC TEACHING
I am the author of several dozen scientific publications in the field of medical communication as well as oncohematology and pediatrics. My communication skills education models are based on scholarship and collaborative experiences with Harvard and Cambridge Universities.
BREAKING BAD NEWS
Delivering bad news is one of the most difficult tasks faced by doctors in any field of medicine. In order to communicate bad news well, the physician must have the appropriate communication skills. In order to prepare students and young doctors for this difficult task, I have created the "EMPATHY" protocol.
